About Us

O’Brien Plumbing Mackay is a second generation family business. Originally established as Mayfield Plumbing & Drainage Services in 1972 by Paul Mayfield, son Karl Mayfield joined the business in 1988 before completing a full take over in 2008. Now operating as O’Brien Plumbing Mackay Karl and his wife Andrea have grown the business to employ over 25 local people. O’Brien Plumbing Mackay specialises in plumbing construction predominantly working in the commercial and domestic markets in the Central and Northern regions of Queensland.

Within the business is also a small team of dedicated service and maintenance plumbers that are focused on helping our customers with a myriad plumbing maintenance issues whether it be for commercial, residential or industrial and mining customers. With a breadth of experience and knowledge across a large team of plumbers we would love to talk you about how we can help solve your plumbing problems.
