Introducing Our Stunning New Sustainable Residential Project in Kew
Our latest residential project in Kew is a true testament to the future of sustainable living. The home featured an underground basement garage, gym, elevator and pool – just to name a few features. From an electrical standpoint, it was designed by our in-house team with an unwavering focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. This fully-electric home is equipped with the latest technology, ensuring it is not only environmentally friendly but also future-ready.
A Collaborative Approach to Excellence
From concept to completion, we worked closely with the builder and homeowners to ensure that every detail of this build showcased our expertise and craftsmanship while achiving their brief. Our team delivered exceptional results in both construction and solar integration, highlighting our commitment to innovative, sustainable solutions.
Prioritising Sustainability
Our primary goal for this project was to create a home that embodies the future of sustainable living. To achieve this, we integrated state-of-the-art technologies and eco-friendly systems.
A 12.35kW solar system featuring Jinko solar panels and a 10kW GoodWe inverter was installed in the home and connected to a Tesla Powerwall battery with a backup supply. This comprehensive solar and battery set-up means the new owners are powering their home with a renewable energy source that’s as reliable as the sun rising daily.
An EV charger was installed in the basement, an induction cooktop in the kitchen and underfloor heating and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. O’Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville also supplied two Emerald Planet heat pumps which efficiently heat the home’s water.
A comprehensive suite of premium electrical features, including LED strip lighting, interior and exterior illumination, pool lighting and electricals, as well as an advanced security camera and sensor system, were also included within the construction.
Each element was meticulously selected to enhance energy efficiency, reduce household costs, and minimise the home’s carbon footprint, all while seamlessly blending modern technology with a sleek, cohesive design aesthetic.
