The Latest Battery Rebates Available in Lismore

Eligible for 5–100 kWh nominal capacity batteries (rebate covers up to 50 kWh usable capacity).
Applicable rebate: approximately $372 per usable kWh before fees (~$330/kWh net)
Example: a 10 kWh usable battery may attract a rebate of roughly $3,720, with net savings around $3,300
Must be installed by a CEC-approved battery installer, be VPP-compatible, and paired with a new or existing solar PV system ◆ Commissioned on or after 1 July 2025

Installs from 1 November 2024 onward are eligible
Up to $1,600–$2,400 rebate on battery installation
Additional $1,500 bonus for connecting to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP)—paid once per site. Participation in the VPP is encouraged but not mandatory for the rebate

You can combine the Federal and NSW rebates:

For a 10 kWh usable battery:
- ~$3,720 federal rebate
- + $1,600–2,400 NSW battery rebate
- + ~$1,500 for VPP connection = total support of around $6,800–6,900
Larger systems (e.g. 27 kWh) could unlock up to $10,000 total support
