The cost of a windscreen replacement depends on several different factors. This includes the make, model and age of your vehicle, features and technology embedded into the windscreen, and if you have an insurance policy which covers glass replacement. Yes we do. We have partnered with BOSCH to deliver an innovative solution in recalibration technology for many vehicle types, which we call Cal-Tech®. This is available in most of our larger branches and offers you a seamless windscreen repair or replacement solution when your vehicle’s camera is one of those that Cal-Tech® can recalibrate.
Wiper blades usually last 6 to 12 months depending on the frequency to which your vehicle is used in adverse conditions. We recommend changing them as soon as you notice a difference in the clarity of your windscreen under any weather condition.

Meet your local Technician

Zachery Blake from Meadowbrook is young in his career (he is only 17 years old) but has a huge amount of knowledge about cars and glazing having been around it his entire life.

“My dad owned his own auto-glazing business so I have been around cars and glass for as long as I can remember.”

Zac has been working as a technician with O'Brien® for 10 months, having started initially as a school-based trainee and says the best part about his job is being around cars all day.

“I love being around cars 24/7 and being hands on with cars as well as working on cars you never thought you would work on.”

Zac may be young in years, but his taste in cars is mature. Him and his Dad own 21 cars between them and Zac’s current ride is a 1983 KE70 Corolla.

“I inherited this car from my grandparents and it’s been a ground up build for me. I stripped it to nothing and fully rebuilt it.”

Zac lives in Ipswich and outside of work you’ll find him at Queensland Raceway; either attending the Friday night drifts or at one of the Summer or Winter Nats. And if he’s not at the track you’ll find him helping his Dad.

“We’re pretty hands on at the weekend repairing or rebuilding one of the many cars we have.”

Unsurprisingly, Zac’s favorite cars to work on at work are also the older style cars. One car that sticks out in recent months being a vintage Ferrari.
