Our Management Team of Scott (Electrical Manager), Josh (Plumbing Manager) and Rachel (Office Manager) have numerous years of experience in the maintenance sector. Together they consistently deliver responsive maintenance contracts on time while exceeding client expectations.

Managing Director, Peter Hodge, has over three decades of experience and expertise in the industry, beginning as a sole trader and building the O’Brien Electrical and Plumbing Coopers Plains that people know and love today.

And we began with such an interesting story…

When Peter took his first plumbing job in 1990, he worked for a man who couldn’t afford to pay for the plumbing services and paid with his Ford Galaxie in lieu of cash… hence the original business name Galaxy Plumbing. From there, Peter grew the electrical and plumbing business with a commitment to providing genuine care and excellent service – every single time.

Today, O’Brien Electrical and Plumbing Coopers Plains has grown into a team of more than 25 skilled electricians and plumbers. With over 40 years of experience as a licensed plumber and gas fitter,
and more than 35 years leading O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Coopers Plains,
Peter brings unmatched industry knowledge and leadership.
He has managed countless service and maintenance contracts and built the business
alongside Madonna and the team on the foundations of integrity, ethics,
and a deep commitment to our values. Peter believes that transparency, honesty, and respect for all—clients, staff,
and suppliers—are not only the right way to do business but the key to long-term success.

Business Manager

Madonna Hodge

Madonna has over 40 years’ experience in office management, contracts administration, HR, payroll, and financial operations. She is the driving force behind the business’s strong culture of care and responsibility.

With many team members beginning their journey here as apprentices, Madonna has helped cultivate a family-oriented environment where everyone is valued and supported. Her passion extends beyond the business, championing mental health awareness through supporting initiatives like TradeMutt workwear and fundraising for TIACS (This is a Conversation Starter).

Office Manager

Rachel Hodge

For nearly a decade, Rachel has expertly managed the day-to-day operations of our office. She oversees service and maintenance contracts, job management, quoting, invoicing, and ensures we meet our clients' KPIs. Rachel also handles payroll and accounts, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
