For O'Brien® to repair a windscreen chip it needs to meet specific requirements. If you have a windscreen chip that’s smaller than an Australian $1 coin and not impeding the driver’s vision you may only require a repair. Otherwise, a windscreen replacement is recommended.

Meet your local Technician

For Leighton Mounsey it was losing his job twice during the COVID-19 lockdown that prompted him to retrain in a field he really wanted to work. Lucky for O'Brien, that saw him come to work at the Brooklyn service centre.

“I was working at a dental clinic when COVID broke out and subsequently lost that job and another. I have always loved cars and pulling engines apart and thought I would retrain for a job that was more car-oriented and something I would get more joy out of.”

Leighton has been with O'Brien now for four months and says he loves working on the older cars.

“Although we don’t do a lot of work on older cars, when I work on them, I learn so much.”

Leighton gets on great with the rest of the team at Brooklyn who he describes as mates.

“All my friends at work are also into cars which is cool. I’ve had great support from the team and have learnt so much from them all.”

Leighton moved to Melbourne from Warrnombool a mere 18months ago. Initially attracted by the nightlife of Chapel Street, he settled in South Yarra. Throughout COVID, he has found other ways to spend his time in Melbourne and likes Calder Park or a walking track in the Tan.

Leighton owns a 2017 Toyota 86 and has done a few track days.
