About Us

Expert Electrical Contractors in Bendigo

The business originally commenced trading in 1975 as McInerney & Donaldson in Bendigo, central Victoria. Current director Gary Frank purchased the business in 2000 and began to grow.

In 2005, the company was invited to join the renowned Laser Group as the Central Victorian representative of the franchise. In 2019, after Laser Plumbing & Electrical joined forces with O’Brien, the business rebranded and became O’Brien Electrical & Air Conditioning Bendigo.

From the early beginnings over 40 years ago, to where O’Brien Electrical & Air Conditioning Bendigo is today, we have always prided ourselves in providing our highest possible level of work and customer service. When you need expert electricians in Bendigo, there’s no one better to call.

Leading Electrical Contractors In the Bendigo Community

O’Brien Electrical & Air Conditioning Bendigo is proud to provide opportunities for the community to realise and sustain their employment aspirations by employing local staff, including a number of apprentices. We aim to have an intake of 1-2 apprentices every year. We are proud to have hired both male and female apprentices, who have all proven to be a very valuable part of the team.

The O’Brien Electrical franchise gives the business the flexibility of imported labour from other O’Brien Electrical companies. This ensures that the business can meet deadlines, by utilising hired experts from our network partner companies, effectively giving us a workforce that is 3000 people strong.
