Why is an ADAS Recalibration important?

Many of the latest vehicle models are now equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology. There are many types of ADAS offering different functionalities, some of which uses front facing cameras cameras that are either housed or mounted on the windscreen. Due to this, it has been a manufacturer requirement to perform an ADAS recalibration after a windscreen replacement, to ensure that the vehicle’s ADAS won’t malfunction on the road and is operating accurately.
