Kelly serves as the Glazing Manager for O’Brien Glass Tasmania, bringing over 11 years of experience with the company. She began her journey as a Planner and then, as of eight years ago, stepped into the Manager role—a transition that has allowed her to develop and grow as a leader with the support of her dedicated team. Kelly takes great pride in her personal development, the success of her team, and the contribution they’ve made to the broader O’Brien Glass business.
Since Kelly joined, the team has grown significantly. What began as a small group of two glaziers in Hobart and two in Launceston has now expanded to a team of nine glaziers across both regions, supported by two talented planning specialists in the office.
Kelly is passionate about working at O’Brien Glass, a company she describes as having a strong focus on people and values. She finds genuine fulfilment in seeing her team succeed and takes pride in the positive feedback they receive—from glowing customer reviews to personal calls praising their exceptional service.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys quality time with her husband and daughter. Whether it’s caravanning, motorbike adventures, or relaxing by the campfire, she values the balance that time away provides.
